If you have several people in your family who want to use cell phones, it’s no secret that a family wireless plan is the cheapest and most convenient plan to choose. While family plans are designed to save you money anyways, some are cheaper than others. AT&T recently lowered the price of their family wireless plans to make them more affordable than ever.
The new pricing for the family wireless plans was just announced and will allow families of four to share 10GB of data and enjoy unlimited talk and text each month for only $160. While this price is available to new customers, current AT&T customers can also switch their plans to save money. Savings can range from $40 to $100 a month, depending on the current plan and the number of lines on the plan.
“These new plans give customers what they want – our best-ever prices on a best-in-class network,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer at AT&T. “We’re making it easy for families who want it all – great service, great value and big bucket of data to share.”

The price drop is also part of an escalating price war between cell phone companies. T-Mobile has been working hard to try to steal AT&T customers. The companies are so competitive that they both are offering customers a $450 credit if they switch services. With such a good offer, both companies are striving to give their current customers a reason to stay with them and not cross over the a competitor.
AT&T has vowed to make sure their customers are getting the most talk, text and data for their money and are even moving customers that currently use for the 10GB of data over to the new plan, without any hassle or confusion.
What cell phone carrier do you currently use and what would a company have to offer you to convince you to switch services?
