You’ve heard the saying before. How “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” right?
Well apparently, the marijuana seed doesn’t fall far from the plant either, because Justin Bieber’s Dad, Jeremy Bieber, is said to be the main one responsible for his son’s recent troubles, especially his trouble in Teterboro Airport last week when he was allegedly smoking marijuana on a private jet.
According to reports, Jeremy, who’s 39 years of age, was smoking so much weed on his son’s jet, the pilots and the flight attendant had to intervene and ask him to stop. And allegedly that’s when the verbal abuse began.
Justin and his dad “were extremely abusive verbally [to the airplane staff],” said an NBC news source. “The captain also stated he needed to request the passengers to stop harassing behavior toward the flight attendant and after several warnings asked the flight attendant to stay with him near the cockpit to avoid any further abuse. The [attendant said] she would not work another flight with them.”
In addition, the pilots said there was so much marijuana smoke inside the aircraft they had to put on oxygen masks, because they were scared they would inhale the smoke and fail their next drug test. Reports also indicate that it was the pilots who alerted authorities on the ground, which is why Justin’s plane was searched as soon as he landed. But fortunately for him, police only detected an odor of marijuana, but didn’t find any on board.
Since Justin’s recent troubles with the law, including the drunk driving charge he’s facing in Miami, it seems his father has been either with him or near him, and as a result, he’s caught much of the blame.
Many believe Jeremy is not being a responsible parent and he’s being a huge enabler to his son, and his son’s entourage. Plus, the 39-year old has never seemed to criticize Justin in the media or apologize for some of his actions. He’s only taken a defensive stand.
It’ll be interesting to see if Jeremy speaks out publicly at some point and admit that Justin has made some mistakes, or if he’ll continue to clam-up and seemingly support his son’s actions.
