Shia LaBeouf wore a paper bag over his head at a press conference in Germany leaving people wondering what on earth is wrong with the former Disney Channel star. The star, at the Berlin Film Festival promoting his film Nymphomaniac, showed up for the conference and answered just one question before exiting abruptly. He returned a short time later with the bag over his head.
Shia was asked how he felt about appearing in a film with such explicit sex scenes. Nymphomaniac is the film in which he and his costar actually engaged in sex acts rather than simply donning skin suits and simulating the acts in front of the cameras.
“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea,” was the reply LaBeouf offered before getting up and leaving.
“I am not famous any more,” the handwriting on his paper bag read.
Interestingly enough, LaBeouf’s Twitter page features a tweet of this same line posted on his page several times between January 13th through February 9th.
I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE

He walked the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival with the paper bag on his head, turning to fans on both sides of the walk way–making sure everyone observed his bizarre behavior.
The Hollywood Reporter says Shia LaBeouf’s trouble started the evening before the press conference when some fans tried snapping a photo of him in a bar at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin. He appeared angered and even lunged at the fans. Some acquaintances intervened and kept the situation from growing out of hand.
Shia LaBeouf has a history of erratic behavior. Her recently announced publicly that he was retiring from acting–and that quite clearly hasn’t been the case. Those who work with the actor know he can’t be controlled.
What do you suppose is behind Shia LaBeouf’s strange behavior? Is he hoping to gain a reputation for being a bit eccentric or is he on drugs–or perhaps suffering from some kind of mental illness?
It will be interesting to see what LaBeouf’s next antics might be.
