Yolanda Foster and her husband, Grammy-winning musician David Foster, have decided to sell their Malibu home and recently listed it for $27.5 million. The home was often seen on the television show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and was the location of many dinner parties and many memorable reality TV moments.
“This is our dream home, but due to my battle with Lyme disease for the past two years I just don’t have the strength to run this almost 5-acre property anymore and should really focus on my recovery with as little stress as possible,” Yolanda said. “My daughter Gigi moved to New York last July and my Bella will move this July, so it will be just the two of us with my 14-year-old son, Anwar.”
Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 and immediately began treatment for it. That same year, she decided to have a port implanted into her arm to treat the disease. In the Spring of 2013 she underwent surgery to have the port removed, but continued with other treatment methods.
The home is beautiful and has provided Yolanda with a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an office, library, oversized custom closets, screening room, recording studio and exercise room. It is situated on 5 acres and is covered in orchards of citrus and avocado trees.
The Fosters have not said where they plan to move and many wonder if they will build another custom home that is more suited for a smaller family.
