Eva Mendes is one of the luckiest women on the planet. Not only is she gorgeous and talented, but she gets to call Ryan Gosling her man. Recently, however, rumors started to fly that the couple had split, and she only stirred the fire with her comments in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday.

“I’m not a big Valentine’s Day person,” she said when asked about her plans. “I’ll probably just order a deep dish and watch ‘The Notebook’ or something. Just cry, weep,” she said, referring to Gosling’s sad love story based on the book by Nicholas Sparks.

The couple haven’t been seen publicly together since late last year, but there are also rumors that the actress is pregnant, something she shot down fervently on “Ellen” this week.

“It’s so ridiculous. Because it all started because I was didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport,” Mendes recalled. “You know those x-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked, right. And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down.”

Gosling was spotted driving Mendes’ car last weekend, which put the InTouch Magazine rumors into question. He hasn’t publicly commented on the relationship, however.

The handsome actor was thrown some shade recently by George Takei, who said in an interview that he didn’t understand what the big fuss is about when it comes to Gosling.

“I don’t know what all this hoo-ha about Ryan Gosling is about. He’s more often boring than not,” he said.
