The new Lamborghini Huracán may not have even hit the market yet, but that hasn’t stopped the Italian company from already selling 700 of the cars. Through several private viewings of the model to some of Lamborghini’s VIP clients, 700 orders have already been placed for the first month.

The Huracán is apparently the successor to what Lamborghini calls the “entry level Gallardo,” which became the auto manufacturer’s most popular model over the last ten years. Since the Gallardo was first introduced a decade ago, sales for the company jumped from 250 to 2,000 per year. The Gallardo quickly became the best-selling model for Lamborghini, selling over 14,000 cars throughout the last ten years.

The Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 Coupe has some impressive new features, such as the new version of the Gallardo’s 5.2-liter V10 engine with 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. It also has a new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and can jump from 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds.

The Huracán also boasts AWD and a curb weight of just 3,135 pounds. It’s speeds are said to top 200 mph.

Though the Huracán won’t be available for public viewing until next month at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, several of Lamborghini’s top buyers have already had the privilege of seeing the new car and placing their orders. The car is also a contender for the “Star of the Show” Award in Geneva.

According to news24.com, Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann says that the official date for the Huracán to go on sale is March 4, 2014.

Last year Lamborghini sold only 2,121 vehicles, which means that the new Huracán is almost one-third of the way to reaching 2013’s total sales numbers in just the second month of the year.

According to carbuzz.xom, the base price for the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 Coupe is around $195,000
