Bree Walker is a well-known radio talk show host and TV news anchor from Oakland, California, and has been active within the radio and TV media in San Diego, New York City, and Los Angeles. Walker is also known for being the first American network news anchor with Ectrodactyly (according to USA Today). Explained by WebMD, Ectrodactyly is a ” genetic disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of some fingers or toes, often combined with clefts in the hands or feet.” Walker has always disguised her disorder of this when reporting on TV.

Walker has also been involved with the acting world and has appeared in minor roles in various movies during the 1980s, such as: Without Warning and The Chase. Walker can also be seen in a 2006 episode of Nip/Tuck, portraying a character with her condition of Ectrodactyly. Her involvement with KGTV began in 1980 when she started working as a Consumer Advocacy Reporter.

According to The Inquisitr, on Wednesday, February 19th, Walker was arrested for driving under the influence when agreeing to a sobriety test after being caught driving through a red light. Local California authorities stated that Walker had failed the sobriety test and was taken into custody by the Anaheim Police Department in California. Walker was then sent behind bars; however, she was able to post bond and leave the facility within a few hours of her admittance to the jail.

The Los Angeles Times states that the incident happened near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ball Road. Walker was stopped by the police at 12:35 a.m., and was arrested at 1:47 a.m.

The Anaheim Police Department later tweeted that Walker had been arrested for driving under the influence:

APD is confirming the arrest of Bree Walker Lampley last night for DUI. She was booked and later released from the station.

A report by TMZ on this case stated that Walker had a canine companion in the car at this time, which was then taken into animal control’s custody, because no one was available to pick the dog up.
