Nicole Scherzinger, the gorgeous brunette and former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, is engaged to her longtime beau Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton is a British race car driver and the two have been on and off for quite some time. Reportedly, Scherzinger said no to three of Hamilton’s marriage proposals, but apparently the fourth time was the charm.

Currently, Scherzinger is in between jobs at the moment, as she was just replaced as one of the judges on Britain’s singing competition The X Factor, but finances shouldn’t be a problem for her at all, since her future hubby is far from being broke.

“Lewis will be the main breadwinner when Nicole is not working, and she will always have access to his private jet if she needs to travel,” said an inside source for The Mirror.

And the nuptials will most likely take place before the close of 2014, says the source.

“It is the ideal plan for both of them and will hopefully lead to a big summer wedding in August when Lewis has a three week break from his F1 schedule.”

In past interviews Scherzinger admitted to having self-esteem issues and said she had problems feeling comfortable in her own skin or appreciating her body, but Hamilton helped to change all of that and really made her feel beautiful.

“Being in our relationship gave me the courage to kind of end that disorder and that disease,” she said, referring to her lack of self-esteem. “He made me feel beautiful for who I am and not what pant size I’m wearing and that helped a lot.”

But it wasn’t just Hamilton that made the 35 year old feel better about herself. Scherzinger had an epiphany of some sort and said she took control of her emotions and made every effort to appreciate her body and the way she looks.

“A little light came on in the back of my head, and that’s when I started to try and turn this around,” she explained. “I said ‘Wow, I’ve got to learn how to accept myself and my body.’ I started to embrace myself as a woman and my curves.”
