A Norwegian teenager got a tattoo of a McDonald’s receipt on his left arm Tuesday, a week after having a receipt inked on his right arm.

Stian Ytterdahl, 18, shared a photo of his tattoo on his Facebook page Tuesday.  He tagged the photograph with the phrase “YOLO,” short for “you only live once.”

He also posted a snapshot of him getting inked at the Sable Ink studio in Lillestrøm, where Norway’s VG newspaper filmed Ytterdahl getting the tattoo.

He launched the page under the name “Stian Ytterdah, the man with the McDonald’s tattoo” last week on the popular social media website.

The first tattoo started as a joke between friends, Ytterdahl told Norway’s Romerikes Blad newspaper last week. Friends who were jealous of his success with the ladies gave him the choice of getting a Barbie tattoo on his butt or the McDonald’s receipt on his arm. He chose the latter.

“Now I’m a living billboard, but I think it’s all just fun,” he said.

“Maybe it won’t be as fun when I’m 50 or 60 years old, but that’s my choice,” Ytterdahl continued.

After getting the first receipt tattoo, Sable Ink offered him an identical tattoo, free of charge, on his left arm. Ytterdahl agreed.

McDonald’s Norway called Ytterdahl called him “a loyal customer.”

The tattoo artist at Sable Ink studio posted a photo of the tattoo on Facebook with a caption, “my strangest tattoo so far.”
