The second season of Ricky Gervais’ Derek now has a Netflix release date, and it’s much earlier in the year than the first season’s.
The show will return to Netflix on May 30th. Last year’s premiere was in September. The Netflix release, according to producer Charlie Henson, is worldwide.

The season will hit Channel 4 in the UK on April 23rd.
Netflix has already released second seasons of its originals Lilyhammer and House of Cards, and has set dates for those of Orange is the New Black and Derek. We’re still waiting to hear a date for Hemlock Grove’s sophomore season, though it is expected to be announced any day now.
