Wrecking Ball singer Miley Cyrus had to cancel one of the concerts on her Bangerz tour, in Kansas City, on Tuesday, after experiencing an allergic reaction to antibiotics.
Miley was scheduled to perform at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., but was taken to the hospital when she started experiencing adverse side effects to her prescribed antibiotics. According to a statement released by her publicist, Miley was put on medical rest, at the request of her doctors.
The Sprint Center also released a statement to tell fans, who were to attend the concert, that Miley had fallen ill and the show had been cancelled. They also assured ticket purchasers that their tickets would be refunded in full.
While Miley was resting in the hospital, she took to Twitter to apologize to her fans and give them updates on her status. “Kansas I promise Imas as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel shittier than I already do,” Miley tweeted. She then continued with a series of tweets complaining about the hospital television and how miserable she was feeling. She even posted a picture of herself and her Mr. Octopussy.
