Jenny McCarthy had some exciting news to share with her viewers on The View this morning.

During the talk show, McCarthy revealed that she and Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg are engaged!

There was a lot of jumping up and down and hugging, and after all the excitement died down, McCarthy shared all the juicy details of the proposal and how Donnie included her 11-year-old son Evan.

“This weekend I was sitting with Donnie … and he went into the other room and out came Evan with a card that said ‘Will’ and he handed it to me,” she said.

“Then Evan ran away and Evan came in with a card that said ‘You.’ … I just started crying and then Evan came back into the room with the word ‘Marry’ — but spelled wrong.”

That’s when she knew what was going on. “The last time, Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie’s shirt said ‘Me’ … and he got down on his knee,” she continued. She blurted out ‘Yes!’ as they all three started crying. “Of course, I said ‘Yes,'” McCarthy said. “In that moment Evan yelled, ‘I have another dad!’ and it made all of us cry.”

She showed off her yellow sapphire ring, and then Wahlberg came out and gave her a kiss. Before the show aired, McCarthy took to Twitter to encourage her followers to tune in. “Good morning my friends. Have a kick ass Wednesday. Between us… I would watch #theview today. Just Sayn. Xxoo,” she tweeted. “Turn on #theview It’s gonna be a goooood one. : ),” she later added.
