Looking for a little Snooopism in your gaming system?
Customers who buy the new voice pack for “Call of Duty: Ghosts” are in for a special treat. Game developer Infinity Ward has officially announced the Snoop Dogg voice pack as the game’s default announcer. The rap mogul will give a play by play of your firefights and alert a player to enemy danger.
So if you’re in the middle of all out war, you can expect to hear excellent commentary like, “Homie is out the joint, it’s party time,” or “Rack up points by reaching the enemy portal, ya dog?”
Snoop Dogg, formerly known as Snoop Lion, spoke of how the developers captured his distinct style, “I think the writers did a good job in creating the lines specifically for me.” He added, “They knew my flavor, and they allowed me to do my thing and put a little Snoopism on top of it.”

The laid back attitude of Snoop’s commentary will juxtapose the Drill Instructor pack, which is voiced by R. Lee Ermey who played Gny. Sgt. Hartman in Stanley Kubrick’s classic Vietnam war film Full Metal Jacket.
Snoop talked about what drew him to the project, “What interests me the most about the project is that my voice can be connected with a game that’s so hip and so hood. It says a lot and it’s associated with greatness.”
The custom extra will be available on April 22 for $2.99 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Playstation and other systems will soon follow.
