Kaley Cuoco of Big Bang Theory may have fooled her Instagram followers last month with a haircut prank, but this month she’s actually gone through with the cut and showed off a sassy new bob on the image-sharing site.

While no one is really sure why celebrity haircuts create so much buzz online, the proof is on sites like Twitter and Facebook, where thousands are talking about the choppy new cut.

Cuoco shared several photos of her new look on Instagram, including one showing off a lighter shade of blonde.

Cuoco fooled her thousands of followers back in March when she posted a photo of herself on Instagram showing a pair of scissors going towards her hair; later, she showed up on the red carpet with her signature long locks intact.

“Kaley saw the media reports, and they were cracking up about it,” a source told Us Weekly.
