Rita Ora was added to the cast of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey back in December. At the time, the singer announced that she would be playing the role of Mia – Grey’s adopted sister. While fans of the book continue to argue over casting choices, one person close to Ora is concerned about the casting for an entirely different reason.

The Sun Daily is reporting that Ora’s boyfriend – Calvin Harris – is not too happy about the singer being cast in the Fifty Shades of Grey film. It’s not that he hates the books or doesn’t want his girlfriend acting. Instead, she said in a recent radio interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club that he was concerned over whether or not she would have a nude scene. Even for the sake of questionable art, it’s got to be a little unsettling to know millions might see your loved one in the buff.

Fortunately for him, Ora says she will remain clothed throughout the film. She might have wanted to say something before Harris met up with Ora’s father and brother to discuss the issue though. One can only imagine the awkwardness that would ensue from a father and boyfriend discussing his daughter’s potential nude scenes.

You can watch the full interview here:

While Ora will not be appearing nude in the film, she took on the role of Mia because she feels a connection with the BDSM-lite content of the books. In the same radio interview, she said she likes to use a whip in the bedroom. That alone may attract new fans to Ora and give viewers a taste of what they can expect of the full film.

Speaking of which, the full film will have plenty of saucy bits. Ora says that she’s leaving all the nude scenes up to the film’s two main stars – Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. While details are still scarce, Ora says that the film will be “passionate” and “amazing.” We might define “passionate” differently, but fans of the book and the two main stars are no doubt in for a good time.

Ora and the rest of the cast will finally make it to the silver screen when Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters on Valentine’s Day next year.
