Miley Cyrus has cancelled her shows in Amsterdam and Antwerp after a hospital stay for a reported allergic reaction, but some think there’s more to the story.

Cyrus was hospitalized mid-April and was forced to postpone several shows on her Bangerz tour, leading to rumors that she was diagnosed with HIV. Now, the web is buzzing with the news that she’s actually pregnant and is suffering from exhaustion, which is why she can’t go on with her show as planned.

According to a statement released in April, Cyrus had a bad reaction to some antibiotics after coming down with the flu.

“Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which she’s now suffered an allergic reaction to. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans,” the statement read.

Cyrus’ shows in Kansas were cancelled in April, with ticket refunds going back to fans, many of whom took to Twitter and Instagram to wish the pop star well. MTV even made a commercial just for her.

This week, a statement went up on her website to let fans know that she won’t be able to perform her upcoming shows as scheduled.

“After a period of improvement, Cyrus’ symptoms have returned and doctors will not permit her to travel. This type of extreme reaction can last up to 27 days and Cyrus must remain under doctors’ care at this time,” the statement read.

Just who Cyrus might be pregnant by is another story altogether, and Twitter has been buzzing with the story today.

As of now, neither Cyrus nor her reps have addressed the pregnancy rumors.
