Pop superstar Katy Perry and country music artist Kacey Musgraves got together for an episode of CMT Crossroads. The premiere show will air on June 13. The two singers performed each other’s songs together and told a few stories in front of a live crowd in Los Angeles. Viewers can expect to hear Perry’s hits Roar and Teenage Dream and also get a taste of country with Musgraves’ Merry Go Round and Follow Your Arrow.

The episode will also appear on MTV, MTV Hits, Palladia, and VH1. The Perry/Musgraves episode marks the 50th edition of the series. The popular show pairs country music artists with various musicians from other genres. Each episode in the series features a different group of artists playing together and sharing stories about their career path and love of all things music.

A few of the more recent Crossroads have featured Stevie Nicks with Lady Antebellum, Fall Out Boy with The Band Perry, and Sting with Vince Gill. Click here for a full list of episodes that you can watch online.

Katy Perry burst onto the pop scene in 2008 with the hit song I Kissed a Girl. She was able to avoid one-hit wonder status with her follow up album in 2010 called Teenage Dream, which featured the hits Firework and E.T. In 2013, Perry released a third album Prism with the smash hit Roar.

Musgraves first album Same Trailer Different Park featured the hit country singles Merry Go Round, Follow Your Arrow, and Blowin’ Smoke. She took home two Grammys in 2014. Merry Go Round won for Best Country Song and Same Trailer Different Park won for Best Country Album.
