Kelly Clarkson is expecting a baby girl in June and as she eagerly anticipates becoming a mom rumors of hubby Brandon Blackstock’s infidelity are still circulating. The singer seems happy, however, and has just recently completed the nursery in their Nashville home.

“They are beyond excited over this baby. Kelly is just busting with joy and can’t wait to hold her,” a source says. “They’ve got the nursery all together and now it’s just a waiting game.”

The same source claims Kelly never doubted her husband and is doing her best to ignore the rumors. She has long wanted a baby and life right now is akin to a dream come true.

In April Kelly posted a tweet on her birthday, asking her baby girl for a very specific and special gift.

It was back in December when Kelly Clarkson first heard the rumor that hubby Brandon Blackstock was having an affair. An anonymous woman claimed she and Blackstock had been ‘intimate’ but hadn’t gone so far as to have sex.

“We haven’t slept together,” the unidentified woman said, “but we’ve been intimate in other ways. I really hope his wife keeps her eye on him because he’s not the great man she thinks he is.”

Kelly Clarkson laughed off the rumors and went about her business as usual, however she was irked to think that someone would deliberately make up such a hurtful tale.

In February Brandon Blackstock tweeted about both Kelly and their unborn baby girl.

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock’s baby is due June 18th so these next couple of weeks will be exciting but rather stressful ones for the new mom and dad. Hopefully people will lay off the rumors and tabloid reports so that no extra stress is put on them–especially on Clarkson as she prepares to give birth to their precious baby girl.
