Kristen Stewart is rumored to have let Robert Pattinson move back in with her in L.A. after he told Jimmy Kimmel that he was “homeless”.

The former couple are the subject of speculation once again due to Rob’s lack of digs on the West Coast, and while some are questioning whether they are back together, one source says that they are merely close friends and that Kristen allows her ex to stay at her house when he’s in town, even when she’s not there, in part because she has custody of the dogs they shared when they were a couple.

“Rob doesn’t have his own place in LA. When he’s in town, he sometimes stays at the Chateau Marmont and very often at Kristen’s when she’s out of town. This gives him the chance to hang out with Bear and Bernie,” the source said.

Pattinson reportedly snubbed Katy Perry–who is rumored to be an ex-girlfriend of his–at the after party for the premiere of his new film, The Rover, recently, and the cold shoulder prompted more speculation that he might have his old flame on his mind.

“Once the buzz started that she was there and once she wasn’t getting the attention from Rob that she thought she should be getting, she went outside and hung out with a girlfriend for the rest of the night,” a source said.

Pattinson and Stewart have had an on-again, off-again relationship for years, throughout their time together on the sets of the Twilight franchise, but broke things off after Stewart was caught on camera being unfaithful with her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. Stewart stayed out of the spotlight for months afterward, and she has admitted that she has a hard time with fame.

“People are like, ‘She just can’t handle’ – for lack of a better word – ‘the spotlight.’ No, actually, I can’t, and this is totally who I am. I don’t try to force it or turn it into something else or fabricate this personality… so I totally agree when people say I’m, like, the most awkward person,” she said.
