Models have been known to undergo some serious physical changes in order to get a job or even keep one, and Gisele Bundchen is no different.

Gisele recently completed a photo shoot for the new Balenciaga ad and it appears that she may have shaved her head.

The model appears to have cut off her long, wavy locks and is sporting a buzz cut in the ad for the 2014 line.

While the rest of the world was shocked to see Gisele’s beautiful hair gone, Gisele said that she enjoyed the change and had fun with the new look.

In fact, she even tweeted about her new shaved head.

Gisele has always had wavy hair, so why was it necessary for her to chop it all off for the ad?

“This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising,” said Balenciaga’s artistic director Alexander Wang.

Gisele had no problem giving Wang what he wanted and her photos are strong, powerful and beautiful, in spite of her shaved head.

So did Gisele really shave off all her hair for the ad? Not exactly. Her hair was actually tucked under a wig. The ad shows that Gisele is beautiful with or without her hair, even though she has decided to keep it for now.
