It’s no secret that Kris Jenner loves her family. But it seems the joy she is experiencing as a grandmother has even taken her by surprise.

Jenner recently sat down with Giuliana Rancic on Beyond Candid to discuss life, family and her new cookbook.

The grandmother of three (plus one on the way) began by joking that her kids are suddenly having babies left and right, despite her belief that she would never become a grandmother.

“Truth be told, there was a couple years ago where I thought if these kids don’t get started, they’re not gonna have any kids. I’m not gonna have any grandchildren,” Jenner said.

”But they are on fire right now. You can stop, I was just kidding,” she said. ”No, no, the more the merrier around here.”

Jenner said she is thrilled that her oldest daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, is expecting another baby around the holidays and took a moment to reflect on her life as a grandma.

“I think that this is probably such an amazing time in my life and how it feels to be a grandmother, it’s like nothing other than I could explain. It’s just fabulous,” Jenner said.

Jenner went on to say that there is no rush for daughter Kim Kardashian to add to the fold. Instead, she said she wants her daughter to take her time and wait for the right moment.

The newest Kardashian-on-the-way will join Jenner’s other grandkids — 4-year-old Mason, 2-year-old Penelope, and 1-year-old North West — in bringing even more joy to her life.
