If you were thinking that recent photos proved that Robin Thicke has finally moved on with his love life, you were completely wrong.

The singer has shot down speculation about the busty brunette in the bathing suit he was spending time with at the beach along with his son, three-year-old Julian.

TMZ reports that the crooner, who canceled a recent concert in Indiana ahead of the trip, was simply trying to spend quality time with his young son.

As for the motive behind canceling the concert, it had nothing to do with a desire for a romantic/family get away; Thicke was reportedly having vocal issues and was forced to cancel the show.

The “Get Her Back” singer decided to take the opportunity to rest his throat and get a little quality time in with his little boy.

It’s no secret that Thicke still carries a torch for 38-year-old Paula Patton, who the 37-year-old singer has allegedly not seen in close to four months.

That is a lengthy, ice-cold silent period of time for a wife and husband to be separated. Needless to say, it’s rumors like that which fuel divorce speculation.

Robin Thicke has made repeated public apologies to Patton and even named his recent album Paula in honor of his love for her.

It’s reported that she isn’t believed to have heard much of Thicke’s new music, and with its embarrassing sales numbers around the world, it seems to be a popular bet that most people haven’t heard it either.

With things sliding downward for Thicke, who not too long ago put his home up for sale, it’s likely family time is the best remedy for the singer.

Whether or not the explanation that the bikini-clad woman is the nanny is the best possible way to squash romance rumors remains to be seen.
