Alexa Vega and Brette Taylor have been signed on to star in multiple-episode arcs for the upcoming third season of ABC‘s country music drama Nashville.
Vega, best known for her roles in Spy Kids and The Tomorrow People, will play Gunnar’s (Sam Palladio) high school sweetheart, Kiley, in a three-episode arc. Kiley is now a single mom who just arrived in Nashville to raise her 10-year-old son she had at a young age. Hmmm? Wonder if he’s Gunnar’s kid?
Taylor will portray Luke Wheeler’s (Will Chase) back-up singer. The actress, best known for roles in Return To Paradise and Laws Of Attraction, will play Pam, a talented singer with a dark past who inspires Deacon (Charles Esten).
Nashville premiered on ABC in 2012, and focuses on the relationship between country superstar Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and rising star Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere). The series also stars Clare Bowen as Scarlett O’Connor, Eric Close as Teddy Conrad, Chaley Rose as Zoey and Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley.
