Kim Kardashian doesn’t have hard feelings toward her brother Rob.
Although they haven’t agreed on everything in the past couple months, she still loves her brother, reports E! News. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently appeared on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen.
During her chat with Cohen, she opened up about her brother’s abrupt decision to skip out on her wedding to famed rapper Kanye West. For those who don’t know, Rob reportedly attended the pre-wedding festivities in Versailles, France the night before the ceremony. However, he was nowhere to be found the next day when the ceremony took place in Florence, Italy.
So, when Cohen inquired about Rob’s wedding fiasco, Kim opened up about the situation for the first time. She revealed his reason for leaving wasn’t the result of a fight they’d had prior to the wedding.
“He sent me a long e-mail the morning of, that he was going to leave, and there was no fight,” she explained. “And I just thought, ‘This is my day, I’m not even going to worry about it. I hope he’s OK.'”
Rob’s departure sent the rumor mill into a frenzy. Several media outlets reported his departure was due to a big blowup between he and his sister. It was rumored that his weight gain was reportedly a big issue and Kim refused to let him be in the wedding pictures. Although the 33-year-old reality star didn’t specifically say why her brother decided to leave, she vaguely reveal his weight was a factor in his decision.
“If I don’t like something that’s going on in my life, I change it. I don’t sit and complain about it for a year … ,” she said. “I try to encourage him, and once you don’t make that change for so long and it’s not happening, I get frustrated. My patience runs out.”
She revealed he didn’t want to be seen publically due to his weight gain. “I totally understand that he wouldn’t want to see a lot of people if he was feeling uncomfortable …,” Kim explained. “You can only pray and wish that someone would not miss on more memories in life because life is about memories.”
