Belle Knox is revealing a side of herself that fans have never seen before.
The infamous Duke University porn star, whose real name is Miriam Weeks, recently debuted her new web series Becoming Belle Knox. The series is a bit different from her adult film credits because of its not just your average pornographic film.
It’s actually a Conde Nast-produced documentary-style series published to the digital site, The Scene. The provocative series is actually turning heads because 0f its highly respected mass media backing.
Conde Nast houses some of the world’s most notable print and digital media brands, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour and Allure.
According to Fox News, Weeks actually revealed the mass media company approached her with the web series concept. “I was approached by Conde Nast about doing a documentary about my life,” Weeks revealed.
“I feel like with my story there are a lot of misunderstandings about who I am, and nuances about being a student and a sex worker,” Weeks said. “The documentary really humanizes me. I’m proof that porn stars can be real people.”
In the series, Weeks reportedly portrays a young woman living two totally different facets of life. By day, she’s a sweet, insecure young woman focused on her collegiate studies. By night, she’s a sex-worker.
The series reportedly chronicles how Weeks landed in the adult film industry. She also explained how her occupation has changed her life. ”I think my experiences have aged me,” she said in the documentary. “I don’t have the mind of an 18-year-old. I kind of have the mind and the emotional baggage of somebody much, much older than me.”
Unlike a television series, which is separated into episodes, the documentary is broken into five chapters. Each chapter is approximately four minutes long. Fans can check out the first episode of Becoming Belle Knox here.
