According to a report from Radar Online, Scott Disick is looking for a place of his own.

The gossip site reports that Disick was seen touring apartments in a luxury Beverly Hills community where rents start at $9,000 a month for a one-bedroom place.

“There was no sign of Kourtney or the kids,” a resident of the building reported.

The feel of the whole report is that Disick is shopping for a bachelor pad, as if getting booted out or choosing to leave Kourtney is nigh.

This seems like pretty flimsy evidence of an imminent breakup between Disick and Kourtney Kardashian. The pair recently shot a Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff called Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, which has not even started airing yet. It could be a terrible time to split.

On the other hand, maybe it’s a great time. That series is in the can, the money will roll in, regardless of what happens in the Scott-Kourtney home.

On yet another hand, for Scott Disick to take a free tour of an apartment in Beverly Hills could also be a great move to spur viewership for the aforementioned series. What better way to keep fans coming back for more than to keep the rumor fires stirred up with fresh fuel?

Not that the Kardashian rumor fires need another poking lately. Kris Jenner and husband of 20 years, Bruce Jenner, have now officially called it quits. Khloe Kardashian and boyfriend French Montana are through. The possibility of Lamar Odom coming back into the picture is a new log on the fire.

The Kardashian/Jenner family have made millions off of keeping viewers riveted to their every move. They have thrown together marriages — and huge weddings — that dissolved within weeks, reportedly just to get ratings. Someone in this whole deal knows how to keep an audience.

Maybe Kris Jenner is far smarter than anyone gives her credit for.
