Carrie Underwood has a lot of exciting stuff going on in her life. Along with expecting a new baby, Carrie announced on Friday, September 26 that she would be releasing a new album.
The album will be titled Greatest Hits: Decade #1, and will feature a mixture of Underwood’s old and new hits.
Carrie’s most recent hit, Something in the Water, that was released earlier today will also be included in the album. The song is a faith-based single that Carrie co-wrote with Chris DeStefano and Brett James. Underwood previously collaborated with the duo on her and fellow country music superstar Miranda Lambert’s hit single Something Bad.
“The song is called Something in the Water and it’s going to be a single off my greatest hits album, which will come out Dec. 9…It’s very uplifting, Underwood said on NBC’s Today on Friday. “I’m really excited that people are going to hear it Monday.”
“It’s really kind of a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and kind of having that ‘a-ha’ moment, to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward,” Carrie added.
