Lizzy Pattinson, older sister to Twilight star Robert, was eliminated from The X Factor UK over the weekend but has promised fans new music is on the way.
Pattinson took to Twitter to thank her fans for all their support and said she had a touch of laryngitis during her performance for the judges at their homes. The 31-year old has said that singing has been a lifelong passion for her, and that getting an audition for Simon Cowell was the most important day of her life.
“I’ve wanted to be a singer since I was 15 but at some point along the way, life took over and music got put to one side. Doing The X Factor has put everything into perspective again in the most wonderful way,” she said.

Robert Pattinson has gushed about his sister and her abilities, saying he can’t believe she was brave enough to chase her dreams in such a daring fashion.
“I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years. I can’t believe she’s done it. So, it’s amazing,” he said.
