In her recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Lawrence admitted that she had a crush on Curb Your Enthusiasm actor Larry David. Lawrence, 24, made comments about her love for David, 67, in the magazine interview, which were then read to David at the recent New Yorker Festival.
“I’m in love with him, and I have been for a really long time,” Lawrence was quoted as saying by New Yorker Editor David Remnick during his interview with David at the 15th annual New Yorker Festival on Saturday, October 11.
“Smart kid. It’s a shame that I’m about 40 years older than she is,” responded David, evidently flattered by the declaration of love from Lawrence.

Remnick then read the rest of Lawrence’s comments about the co-creator of Seinfeld, which said, “I worship Woody Allen, but I don’t feel it below the belt the way I do for Larry David.”
David seemingly joked about what Lawrence said. “Maybe she’s referring to her knees. I don’t think I could do it. On one hand it’s very flattering and on another hand, it’s kind of a shame—in terms of timing. I’d have fun watching the reality show of it though,” he said.
Apparently a big fan of older comedians, Lawrence’s interview in the November issue of Vanity Fair was not entirely a laughing matter as it allowed her to seriously address the controversy surrounding her stolen nude photos that were leaked online by hackers. “I was just so afraid. I didn’t know how this would affect my career,” Lawrence told contributing editor Sam Kashner about her feelings when the news first broke.
Lawrence met with Kashner for the interview a few weeks before the first batch of her nude photos were leaked online, but the editor reportedly reached out to her again after that in order to give her “a chance to have the last word” about the controversy.
