Fox and Friends co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck reportedly underwent a secret surgery on Monday, October 13, and will be absent from the show for several weeks while she recovers.
On Wednesday’s episode of the news show, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is normally seen on the Fox News program The Five, filled in for Hasselbeck, making fans curious as to where she was. Her co-hosts reassured their viewers that Elisabeth was “doing just fine” and is “on the mend.”
“In case you were wondering where Elisabeth is today and this week, well, she had some surgery yesterday and she’s going to be out for a couple of weeks,” Hasselbeck’s co-host Steve Doocy explained. “But she’s doing just fine, she’s on the mend.”
“But as you know if you watch the show, she is strong, she is tough and a better athlete than me,” Hasselbeck’s other co-host Brian Kilmeade jokingly added. “We heard from her last night and she said she is feeling good. So, in a short time, she’ll be back on the set. Until then, we get a chance to work with wonderful people like Kimberly.”
Excited to be co-hosting @foxandfriends tomorrow with @sdoocy and @kilmeade tune in early – 6AM to 9AM ET
