Nest, which Google acquired earlier this year, has acquired Revolv, another smart-home device maker.
According to Liz Gannes at Re/code, the deal just closed, and but the terms are undisclosed.
Revolv says in a message on its homepage, “We have been inspired by Nest since our foundation, and are thrilled to be part of the Nest family. Together, we’re going to create some amazing products and continue to unify the connected home as part of the Works with Nest program.”
Revolv will not be available for new customers going forward, but existing customers will be able to receive support. Customers that have issues can still use the support site. Products are still under warranty.
“Revolv data will remain subject to the Revolv Privacy Statement and, like Nest data, will be separate from Google,” Revolv says.
A few months ago, Nest bought Dropcam for a reported $555 million.
