Eric Frein has been eluding police for almost six weeks now, and although they have had several leads and tips about his possible whereabouts, they are still no closer to finding him.
Earlier this week a woman called the police to tell them that she found blood in her backyard.
The woman lives in the neighborhood where police believe Frein could be hiding out and the blood is currently being tested to see if it could belong to Frein.
The blood was found near a chicken coop, but the owner said that none of her animals were injured.

She also said on ABC news that the blood was found after the family had been gone from the home for a long period of time. This is the first time they had left since Frein went into hiding.
Frein is wanted for shooting a police officer and is a self-trained survivalist who is likely hiding out in or near the Pocono mountains.
Another homeowner found blood near their home earlier this month, but test results showed that the blood did not belong to Frein.
There have also been several alleged sightings of Frein in the area.

In order to keep the townspeople safe from Frein, who is believed to be armed and dangerous, the town of Canadensis, Pa has canceled trick or treat.
Police are currently concentrating on Canadensis and the surrounding area to search for Frein. They have advised anyone in the area to report anything or anyone that seems suspicious.
