Amanda Knox has found a new life. It seemed impossible after her murder conviction earlier this year, but it’s happening.

The 27-year-old scandal-ridden convicted murderer is now working as an Arts reporter for the West Seattle Herald.

She began freelancing for them under a pseudonym, but eventually she proudly wrote under her real name.

“She’s a good writer and always meets her deadlines,” Tim Robinson, the paper’s associate publisher, said of Amanda Knox.

He added, “I’m glad to have her contribution, and I’m glad that she’s doing something in our community.”

Amanda Knox‘s styling can be seen in a recent story of hers. She reviews a high school production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and displays some fairly impressive writing chops.

“Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is notorious for turning Hamlet on its head and questioning everything one takes for granted: time, space, identity, reality, fate, freedom,” she writes.

Amanda Knox is busy redefining herself.

She told People in 2013, after her first conviction was overturned, “The freedom that I’m most grateful for has to do with reclaiming my identity: I’m not a murderer.”

She seems to be doing a pretty good job, but can Amanda Knox truly escape from her past? Her appeal trial led to a second conviction and a 28 1/2 year sentence, but she has vowed to never return to Italy to serve her time.

Amanda Knox deemed her second conviction “not right and not fair”, and she served four years in prison for the first one.

If she is indeed innocent, then congratulations to Amanda Knox on creating a life for herself where she can begin a somewhat normal existence!
