Robert Downey, Jr. and wife Susan Downey are the proud parents of a new baby girl, born on Tuesday, the 4th of November. This is the third time at parenthood for the the Iron Man star and the second for his wife. Downey, Jr. has a 21-year-old son named Indio, from his previous relationship with girlfriend Deborah Falconer. He and Susan Downey already have a son together. Exton Elias Downey is two.

People magazine reports it was via social media that Robert Downey, Jr. shared word of Avri Roel Downey’s arrival into the world.

It was in July when the couple announced they were expecting for the second time. Robert Downey, Jr. met Susan on the set of the film Gothika back in 2003. Word of baby Avri’s birth was some positive news that was badly needed by the Downey family. A little less than two months ago, Robert Downey, Jr.’s mother, actress Elsie Downey, died in Los Angeles. She was 80 years old.

In addition to presently starring on the big screen in The Judge, Downey, Jr. is set to star in 2015 in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Susan Downey was once the co-president of Dark Castle Entertainment and the executive vice president of production at Silver Pictures. She stepped down from those positions to form a production house called Team Downey with Robert Downey, Jr.
