Jamie-Lynn Sigler, best known for her role as Meadow Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos, is mourning the sudden passing of her brother Adam Sigler. Adam died on Wednesday after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage.
“Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by the sudden loss of Adam Sigler,” a rep for the actress said in a statement to the media. “He brought love and joy to everyone around him especially his family, who were by his side when he passed. Adam will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected during this time.”
Adam Sigler was just 41 years old. He worked as a treasury operations specialist at Fidelity Investments in New Jersey. He was engaged to real estate broker Danielle Piro, his girlfriend of six years. Sigler was said to have been in good health prior to suffering the brain hemorrhage. He was a faithful fan of his sister during the eight-year stint Jamie-Lynn had on The Sopranos.
