Kim Kardashian, along with Paper magazine, set out to #BreakTheInternet with the cover shot of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s larger than life–and amply oiled–derriere. That photo, along with one that appeared later, featuring Kim Kardashian balancing a champagne glass on said ass, did succeed it getting lots of attention. It was talked about incessantly on TV, radio, and on the web. It got old really fast, however, and didn’t succeed at its original goal. It didn’t ‘break’ the internet.

According to Boston.com, Kim Kardashian has broken a number of things over the years, however. One thing they didn’t mention was Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries. She definitely broke that.

Humphries, in fact, was asked by the Washington Post about his feelings about the photo of Kim Kardashian and her behind–but he didn’t seem very interested at all.

“I’m not someone who’s paying attention to things that don’t really matter in my world. I mean a lot of times I don’t even know what’s going on,” he said.

He claimed his focus was on basketball instead.

“I’ve always been a basketball-first kind of guy…that’s where my outlet is, especially now,” he said. “Everything else, I don’t really pay a lot of attention to,” he said.

Good for Kris Humphries, and good for the internet, too–for not succumbing to what Kim Kardashian believed would be its ultimate melt down of all time.

Kim Kardashian insists that both photos released were really her. What’s really interesting is that after a while, no one really cared.

It seems the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has got to come up with something way more impressive if she wants to ‘break the internet.’
