Google Keep, the company’s virtual post-it note app, now has a new helpful sharing feature. You can write ideas or shopping lists, and share them with friends or family.
“So next time you create a list, share it on Keep and watch as items get checked off in real time! No need for text messages back and forth—get things done together, quicker,” says engineer Ken Thai.
“Searching for your notes is simpler now too,” he adds. “You can filter notes by color and other attributes such as whether they’re shared, have a reminder, are lists, or have an image or audio. Find what you’re looking for even faster, and let Keep do the remembering for you.”
It’s been a while since Google has announced any significant feature for Google Keep. This would seem to suggest that the company still cares about the app, that those who haven’t been using it may have otherwise forgotten about.
The app is available for Android 4.0 and up. The update is rolling out today. It’s also available for Chrome.
