Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West looking for the exit already?

It’s possible, but at least one person claims that it won’t be Kim K. who files for divorce.

According to gossip site RadarOnline, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner has “forbidden” her from trying to divorce Kanye!

An insider told Radar, “Kim told her mom that she and Kanye are arguing and Kris said that she better fix it because her career won’t survive another divorce”

The anonymous source said that the advice was more like a “threat”, meant to keep Kim from doing anything to blow her big break.

Since marrying the rapper, Kardashian’s fame has only grown.

Divorcing Kanye West after being together for such a short period might only serve to make Kim Kardashian a laughing stock.

Keep in mind that her previous marriage to Washington Wizards player Kris Humphries only lasted 72 days before Kim K. filed for divorce.

Before that, she was married to Damon Dash for nearly five years (from 2000 to 2004).

Between short failed marriages and the ugliness that might ensue during a divorce, especially in a fight over daughter North West, it’s highly likely that Kim Kardashian has more to lose from leaving Kanye than to gain.

At least for now.

Although she did experience quite a bit of press recently following her highly controversial nude Paper photo shoot, that’s not enough to guarantee her fame would survive outside of a divorce.

Radar also made the claim that much of the divorce talk stems from bickering over business ventures and money; allegedy the marriage is more or less one of convenience rather than love.

“Kim feels like their relationship is more of a business relationship than a real marriage,” a source close to the couple told Radar.

“All they do is talk about business whenever they’re together and it’s stressing Kim out more than it ever has before.”

Stressed or not, Kris Jenner apparently isn’t going to see her daughter throw away her fame in divorce court.

So Kim Kardashian, if she IS unhappy, will likely choose to tough it out with Kanye West for as long as possible.
