While out shopping with a friend at Los Angeles’ trendy strip, Vanessa Lachey proudly stepped out of her car with her baby bump in full view. The wife of 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey wore a cozy cashmere sweater, skinny jeans, and a pair of cute boots as she visited some of LA’s hottest stores.

They announced the gender of their newest offspring last July when Nick posted a photo of their son Camden on the beach while playing in the sand with the words “It’s a Girl” written next to the boy. Lachey is all smiles on the cover of this month’s issue of American Baby where she shared her excitement for baby number two. She recently shared the cover to all her followers on Twitter and wrote: “Baby girl’s 1st cover with mama!”

In the interview, Lachey told the magazine how couples should avoid getting stressed over an upcoming baby.   “Once Camden was born, certain fears calmed down. I no longer thought, ‘Will I be able to do this?’ My instincts really did kick in. We stumble and make mistakes, too, but that’s what learning is. That’s the beauty of it,” she said.

Nick Lachey recently released a brand new covers album last November and expressed his excitement for his upcoming daughter in an interview with RadarOnline: “Everyone tells me there’s just something different about having a little girl. So I’m excited to experience a different kind of love.”

The couple already has a name for their upcoming bundle of joy, but Nick refused to announce it just yet. “We reserve the right to change our minds, but as of right now, we’re in an agreement,” the pop star said.

Lachey was married to Vanessa in 2011 after his divorce from fellow pop star Jessica Simpson. Simpson and Lachey were married for three years and was the subject of the reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
