Freddie Prinze Jr. has posted several photos to social media this week, sharing his recovery with fans as he learns to walk again after spinal surgery.

The 38-year old actor took to Twitter over the Thanksgiving holiday to let fans know he was okay after going under the knife, saying, “Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu – 1 technique at a time.” He has also shared photos of himself wearing a neck brace and seems to be in good spirits following the procedure.

While several media outlets reported on the actor’s surgery, but he quickly took to social media to let his fans know they shouldn’t believe everything they read.

“Guys I’m totally fine. Recovering great. No need to get ur info from entertainment “news” sources who have no clue. Trust your homie….Bro Do i look jacked up to ya’ll? Balance… In all things. Private medical info amigos. Lets say I had some disc issues that have been resolved. ‘Nuff said friends,” he wrote on Twitter.

Prinze Jr. made headlines over the summer when he made comments about working with Kiefer Sutherland, calling him unprofessional. Sutherland responded to the interview with a statement saying he’d only had a positive experience with the actor.

“I did ’24,’ it was terrible. I hated every moment of it. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped,” he said.

Sutherland’s rep released a statement saying, “Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr.more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie‘s grievances,” Sutherland’s rep said Monday afternoon. “Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.”
