Jennifer Lawrence beat out Kim Kardashian on Google’s Top Trending People List for 2014, despite Kardashian’s quest to “break the internet.”
Google released its annual Year in Search list, noting that there were trillions of searches around the world this year.
It’s unclear if the leaked nude photo scandal had anything to do with the Hunger Games actress’ title of most Googled, but she did edge out Kardashian, who purposely leaked her own frontal nude shots, had a plethora of pre- and post-wedding stories written about her (which did earn her a different title) and a slew of booty photos all over the internet.
Here is a selection of this year’s results:
Top Trending People:
1. Jennifer Lawrence 2. Kim Kardashian 3. Julie Gayet 4. Tracy Morgan 5. Rene Zellweger 6. Jared Leto 7. Lorde 8. Matthew McConaughey 9. Amal Alamuddin 10. Donald Sterling
