What does the average face of a CEO look like?

Exactly how you think it would, for the most part.

Coupon company SumoCoupon used morphing technology to create composite images of the “average” face of male and female CEOs across 10 different industries. The project took from over 400 faces.

At a glance, there’s not much difference between the average CEO in, say, the technology industry vs. the retail industry, or the entertainment industry and the transportation industry.

The most interesting face is that of a startup CEO, which appears much younger than the CEOs from any other industry – man or woman.
