Kimberly Caldwell got married in Palm Springs over the holidays, and she’s been sharing photos of her gorgeous Gatsby-inspired nuptials on Instagram to make us all jealous.
The former American Idol star married soccer player Jordan Harvey at the Bougainvillea Estates on New Year’s Eve, where they stayed for a week with their families.
“We were fortunate enough to stay at the estate for five days with both of our immediate families. We celebrated our Fiesta rehearsal dinner on the terrace overlooking the lake serenaded by a mariachi band leading up to our wedding festivities,” Caldwell told Us Weekly.
The reception was a catered affair and featured sparklers and Chinese lanterns, which guests released into the air in honor of the couple and in honor of the new year. The couple then took off for their honeymoon in Belize.
The bride wore a mermaid-style gown with her hair in loose waves, while the groom went with a dark red tuxedo. Guests were reportedly asked to wear black-tie and formal sequined gowns in staying true to the theme.
