Jennifer Aniston has had enough with the “petty B.S.” surrounding continual reports that there is a rivalry between her and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt’s wife, Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer Aniston had nothing but praise for Angelina Jolie’s film, Unbroken, the highly-acclaimed but Oscar-snubbed World War II biopic.

“I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do,” Jennifer Aniston told Entertainment Tonight about the supposed rivalry between the two actresses.

“I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness,” Aniston continued. “It’s just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”

Jennifer Aniston’s performance in the drama Cake also has been widely praised, but was likewise snubbed for an Oscar nomination.

The supposed feud began after Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fell for each other on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which led to Jennifer Aniston‘s split from Pitt that same year. Jolie told Vogue in 2006 that the two did indeed fall for each other during filming.

“It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe,” she said. “And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration.”

“Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, ‘God, I can’t wait to get to work.’ … Anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair,” said Jolie.
