Dakota Johnson is dominating headlines this week after her star turn in Fifty Shades Of Grey, which exploded at the box office on Valentine’s Day weekend. While some people may not have been familiar with Johnson before the film was released, they will now that the movie has become a huge success, especially since Johnson has been opening up in interviews. The 25-year old actress recently told Glamour UK that she took several “souvenirs” from the set, and admitted that one of them is gathering dust at her house.

“I stole lots of the underwear — they were comfortable. I do have a flogger in my house (it’s in the garage with dust),” Johnson said.

Dakota says she’s still getting used to the sudden, intense fame. Although she’s the daughter of Hollywood vets Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, starring in the film adaptation of a super-steamy best-selling book series has taken things to a whole new level. When asked if she’s gotten used to having people recognize–and even follow her–on the street, she said it will take a while.

“That is a new situation in my life. Super weird,” she said.

Johnson said she’s also getting attention from her friends and family, who have been contacting her since the premiere to congratulate her on the movie’s huge opening weekend.

“A lot of my family, a lot of emails. People who are just happy I’m happy. It’s really exciting. I think it’s sort of incredible. I’m trying to deal with it. My grandmother’s probably not gonna see it. I don’t know, maybe down the line my parents will be able to see it, but I don’t know,” she said.
