Scott Disick reportedly showed up drunk to a meet and greet in the UK this weekend, and the company that hired him is taking legal action against the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. The lawyers representing the company issued a statement regarding the proceedings.

“We are happy for people to know we have begun legal proceedings against Scott and would hope he responds out of respect for his fans.,” the statement reads.

Scott Disick was paid in advance to appear at the VIP event at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. A source tells the Daily Mail that when he finally arrived–more than two hours late–he was drunk and swearing, and hardly talked to fans at all.

“I waited all night for him and he never showed,” one fan told the publication. “I was then told by a security officer that he had left the building–with no announcement or apologies made for all the people that waited patiently. Frankly, I feel like I’ve been swindled; to pay that amount of money for a promised VIP package and not receive any of it is misleading and morally repugnant.”

In addition to showing up drunk at this club, Scott Disick cancelled completely on others.

Scott Disick is, of course, married to Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian. Kourtney actually accompanied Scott Disick to a recent event at a club in Las Vegas in an effort to prevent him from getting drunk and doing exactly what it sounds like he did in the UK.

Kourtney Kardashian even ‘ordered’ Scott Disick to return home–telling him their relationship is on the line if he doesn’t. It seems Scott is always off getting drunk (when he’s supposed to be working) while Kourtney is at home, caring for their children–baby Reign, along with Penelope and Mason Disick.

Do you think there’s any saving Scott Disick from himself? The man clearly needs a lengthy rehab stint, but probably doesn’t see things quite that way. Fans have long wondered why Kourtney Kardashian has put up with him as long as she has. Surely she could do much better.
