Jana Duggar is reportedly taking the steps necessary to leave her family’s TLC reality show, 19 Kids and Counting. Often referred to as Cinderella Duggar, Jana Duggar is 25, and knows if she doesn’t leave soon, she’ll be stuck there helping care for her siblings for years to come.
It seems the eldest of the Duggar daughters wants to go to college, and has been checking into Christian colleges to which she might want to apply.
“Jana just turned 25, so she knows she needs to get on with her education if she doesn’t want to be stuck at her mom and dad’s house in Arkansas forever,” a source tells OK! magazine. “She told her parents that she was looking at Christian colleges and would be applying soon.”
Jana Duggar doesn’t want to get stuck being the Duggar nanny for her siblings either. Sister Jill Duggar Dillard is due to give birth in less than two months, and sister-in-law Anna Duggar is expecting again. Jana reportedly fears if she doesn’t make her move soon, she’ll be kept busy with all the family’s little ones–newborn babies included.

It seems parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar aren’t happy with the plans Jana Duggar is making. They’d prefer she stayed at home with them until she met a man suitable for courtship and then got married.
Can you really blame Jana Duggar for wanting to leave the 19 Kids and Counting nest? How will she ever meet a man–even a good Christian man–if she doesn’t get out of the house and try something new?
