Katy Perry is grabbing headlines today after she posted a photo of herself with a super-short haircut (which was probably an April Fool’s Day prank) and one of her phone number (which probably wasn’t).
The pop star shared the haircut photo early in the day with the caption “I asked for the Kris Jenner”, which immediately grabbed the attention of the web and quickly went viral. But Perry, who changes her hair color and style pretty often, may have just been pulling a fast one on her followers. We’re not so sure about the photo she posted later, which showed her adorable dog Butters…and a clear view of his tag, which features Perry’s personal phone number.
Perry obviously didn’t realize what she’d done until several of her fans warned her on Twitter and Instagram; the “Roar” singer boasts over 85 million followers between her social media accounts. She immediately deleted the photo, and, as Us Weekly reported, deactivated the phone number.
Of course, it’s always possible that Perry really did chop her hair off in homage to the Kardashian matriarch; she was spotted hanging out with Jenner recently at a yacht party, where Jenner snapped a pic and posted it to Instagram.
