Sons Of Anarchy star Theo Rossi announced this week that he and wife Meghan McDermott are expecting their first child, and that the baby is due on Rossi’s birthday.
“My wife Meghan and I are incredibly grateful…the baby is due on my birthday, and I couldn’t ask for a more perfect gift. It’s hectic right now. We are at Tribeca where we’re promoting our production company’s first film, Bad Hurt, and its premiere. Lots to celebrate right now,” Rossi told E! News.
The actor says he and McDermott don’t know the sex of the baby yet, but she’s due in June. Rossi also said he’s excited to raise the baby in New York, because the city played a big part in who he is today.
“I’m just excited for him or her. I keep calling it ‘him or her,’ I’m just excited for this baby to grow up in New York City because it’s the greatest place in the world, and it made me who I am, and I just think that it’s going to be very interesting because it’s a very different time from when I grew up,” Rossi said.
Sons Of Anarchy recently wrapped up as a series, with fans shocked at the final few episodes and what became of some of the main characters (spoilers ahead). Actress Katey Sagal, who played Gemma Teller, spoke to People Magazine about her final moments on the show.
“There were lots of conversations about what happens to her before it was finally decided how she would die. For a character like Gemma, even to live is like, what’s worse? At the point you see her in the episode, death is a relief. It all caught up to her. By forming that, then there were conversations about what would be the most fitting, most horrible way for her to die,” Sagal said.
