Kris Jenner is working to keep her Keeping Up with the Kardashians empire together. Her divorce from Bruce Jenner might have fit into the reality TV hype that has made the family a mint. But some of her Jenner kids are now indicating that they never had a say in doing the show in the first place.
“Me and my little sister were placed in [Keeping Up with the Kardashians],” Kendall Jenner said. “Like, ‘Okay, there’s gonna be a TV show around.’ We didn’t have a say. And how could we have a say? It was in our home. There was no way we couldn’t be on it.”
Kris Jenner’s sister said recently that the gender transition with Bruce has made things awkward for Kris.
“As with anyone, it has embarrassed my sister. It’s been humiliating for her,” Karen Houghton told Radar Online
Now Radar Online says they have a source that says Kris Jenner and daughter Kourtney Kardashian went to visit Bruce Jenner recently to smooth things over.
“Kourtney has been playing mediator between Bruce and Kris because she is the only one that Bruce will listen to out of the three Kardashian girls,” says the source. “Kris asked Kourtney for her help because really wanted to talk to Bruce face to face. Swanted to let Bruce know that she is now fully supportive of his transition to and she also wants to be involved in the process.”
Does Kris Jenner have some ulterior motive for reaching out to Bruce?
“Kris thinks that she can help Bruce become the classy woman that he is looking to become because she sees herself as the epitome of class,” the source said. “Also, she wanted to discuss the family and the future of their empire with him. Bruce and Kris knowingly put this whole entire thing into place because that is what they wanted when they were together. Now that that the family is clearly being torn apart, Kris just wants to work with him and try to put the pieces back together.”
Bruce Jenner’s mother has made her opinion of her former daughter in-law clear.
“I hope she changes her name back to Kardashian I don’t want her to carry the name,” Esther Jenner said. “She was backstabbing as far as my grandchildren were concerned, and that is something I can’t stand.”
Last year, Esther Jenner spoke to The Daily Mail about Bruce Jenner, particularly about rumors surrounding his divorce from Kris Jenner.
“I love him, no matter what,” Esther Jenner said. “There’s such raunchy publicity all the time. I don’t know. I’ve brought this up to him on the phone when we’ve talked and he says, ‘Mum ,you can’t believe this stuff,” he said, ‘You can’t pay any attention to this stuff,’ and I said, ‘Well I want to tell you one thing Bruce, I don’t care if what they’re putting out is true or false, it’s not going to change my love for you,’ and it’s true that’s exactly how I feel, but I don’t like it.”
Now Bruce has apparently set her straight on what is rumor and what is fact concerning his gender transition.
“He said, ‘I want to be honest about my identity and I know this is coming out in the press,’ ” his mother says. “He started by saying, ‘We need to have a long, serious talk.’ ”
